How do I use readingfcdirect.co.uk?
If you already have a Customer Number you can access your account from the Customer Login section. If you are a new customer, or a customer of the previous readingfcdirect merchandise website and you do not have a Reading FC Customer Number, select ‘login’ from the main menu above, then complete the Customer Registration section to sign up for a new readingfcdirect account.

How do I log in?
You can log in by selecting the Log In button at the top right of this page.

What happens if I forget my password?
Go to the "login" section, where you have the option to get your password emailed to you.

How can I report a problem with readingfcdirect.co.uk?
If you find something that doesn’t seem to be working or something that isn’t making sense we’d be really grateful if you could email memberservices@readingfc.co.uk with your feedback to enable us to fix the problems and make the process even better for everyone.

How can I update my personal details?
You can update your address, password or view your recent transaction history under the My Account page. You can also update your Communication Preferences - we’d like to keep you updated with information about special offers including Cup tickets, we can keep you updated by email, SMS, traditional post or the occasional phone call, we want to ensure that you stay in control of what you receive so you can update your preferences at any time.

How do I purchase tickets online?
Simply select 'Tickets' from the menu bar at the top of this page and choose your match and seat, you will then be able to pay for them using the methods mentioned above.

How can I contact the Ticket Office?

What times are the Ticket Office open?
Non-match Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm
Non-match Saturdays: 9am-12pm
Non-match Sundays: closed
Match Saturday: 9am-half time in person, 9am-12pm by phone
Night matches: 9am-8.45pm in person, 9am-5pm by phone
Sunday matches: varies dependent on kick off time

Can I book tickets for Friends and Family online?
If you frequently buy tickets for more than one person you can activate, create or add other accounts to your Friends and Family list, this will simplify your booking process, you’ll notice that we ask for the date of birth on each account this allows the system to automatically match each individual to the correct concession and ensure that you never pay more than you should. Login to your account then select the ‘Friends and Family’ option.

How do I purchase merchandise online?
Simply select 'Merchandise' from the menu bar at the top of this page and choose your products, you will then be able to pay for them using the methods mentioned above.

What times is the Megastore open?
Non-match Monday to Saturday: 9am-5.30pm
Non-match Sundays: 10am-4pm
Match Saturday: 9am-3pm; 4.45pm-5.30pm

What delivery options are available?
Orders are dispatched by three methods:

  • Next day delivery via City Link courier

Details of delivery options

Royal Mail
If your order is placed on a weekday before 12pm, it will be dispatched on the same day. If the order is placed after 12pm, it will be dispatched the following working day. If your order is placed at the weekend, it will be dispatched on the following Monday. Please allow 5 days for delivery.

City Link Next Day Delivery
City Link will deliver to UK customers next day before 6pm and offers the option of tracking your delivery online. If your order is placed on a weekday before midday, it will be delivered the following working day. If your order is placed after midday, it will be delivered 2 working days later. Orders placed on a Friday before midday will be delivered Monday and orders placed after midday Friday will be dispatched Monday for Tuesday delivery. Please note that a signature will be required so make sure that someone will be available at you shipping address.

CrossFlight International Delivery
CrossFlight International Delivery is available for International orders and offers the option of tracking your delivery online. This service is available Monday-Friday and orders must be placed between 9am-5.30pm. Please note that a signature will be required so make sure that someone will be available at your shipping address.

How do I return unwanted items?
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, return it to us with a covering note within 2 weeks of receipt in an unworn/unused condition for a full refund and exchange. We are unable to exchange or refund customised printed shirts or accept responsibility if a player leaves the club or changes his squad number. Personalised shirts may only be returned if faulty, unsuitable sizes cannot be returned.

Returns should be marked for attention of: Returns Department, The Megastore, Madejski Stadium, Junction 11 M4, Reading, RG2 0FL

We would advise that you send returns by special delivery, as Reading Football Club cannot accept any responsibility for items lost in the post. Postal charges are the responsibility of the customer unless the goods returned are faulty. Postal charges for the return of exchanges are charged as shown under Question 2 above.

Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel your order for goods at any time up to the 7th working day after you receive the goods, unless your goods have been personalised in anyway. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling your order and you can cancel orders by sending an email to . Once you have notified Reading Football Club that you are cancelling your order, any sum debited from your credit card will be re-credited when we receive the goods into our Returns Department, and, in any event, within 30 days of the cancellation, provided you return the goods in the original condition. Non credit card purchases will be refunded by cheque.

What happens if the item I want to order is out of stock?
Occasionally, some items may be temporarily out of stock or sold out due to high demand. Items which are out of stock will be highlighted on the website so customers can choose whether to go ahead with the order and wait until the item is back in stock, or choose an alternative item.

Hospitality FAQ's


How can I purchase Hospitality Online?
Currently we have one hospitality package (Bar 1871) available for sale online for Adults only. Select 'Hospitality' from the menu bar at the top of this page and choose your match and number of Bar 1871 places, you will then be able to pay for them using the methods mentioned above.

Why can’t I purchase Child places for Bar 1871 online?
We are planning to add this to the website very soon.

Why are other Hospitality packages not available to purchase online?
Many of our hospitality packages are tailored for individual clients, to meet their specific needs. Therefore we make these packages available to purchase by calling our Hospitality team on 0118 968 1010.

What is Bar 1871?
Bar 1871 is a pitch-facing lounge with a private bar and plasma TVs, offering a warm & comfortable way to enjoy the pre-match build up. Bar 1871 tickets include VIP match seats

When will I receive my tickets?
Your tickets and documentation will be posted to your registered account address approximately 10-14 days prior to the match.

What time does hospitality open?
Matchday Timings (for Saturday 3pm kick off and Evening 8pm kick off)
Hospitality Opening Hours: Saturday 12 noon, Evenings 5.30pm
Lunch or Dinner Served from: Saturday 1pm, Evenings 5.45pm
Bars Close: Saturdays 6pm, Evenings 11pm

Is there a dress code?
We encourage a smart casual dress code. Smart denim is permitted. Any person wearing tracksuits or football shirts will be denied entrance. (Home football shirts are permitted for children under 12).

Can I purchase alcohol in Bar 1871?
A full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is available in Bar 1871. Please note that Bar 1871 is a pitch facing lounge and due to licensing regulations, alcohol cannot be consumed in Bar 1871 from 15 minutes before kick off, until 15 minutes after final whistle. Bar 1871 customers can access the Kennet Room bar for the consumption and purchase of alcohol within these times.

What food is available in Bar 1871?
Bar 1871 offers a selection of home made burgers, portions of chips, soup and crisps.

Can I cancel my order?
All bookings are subject to Reading Football Club Terms and Conditions. By submitting an online booking the client confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions are available to view on this website, including at the Checkout. The dates and times of games are subject to change, no responsibility for changes is accepted and no refunds will be made.
